Gaffes:
continuité: At around 2:17 spider is shown running off the bridge down to the deck. While on the bridge and running he is not wearing his mask/breather but has it on when he reaches the deck.
continuité: Miles Quarrich got his facial scars before he ever met Jake Sully. But in the recording where he urges his clone to hunt down Jake and kill him, the scars are absent.
erreur factuelle: High velocity rounds fired from a gun will have very poor penetration through water, in tests done with a 50 caliber armor piercing round, it disintegrated after only about 14 inches of travel through water.
erreur révélatrice: When Lo'ak is being chased by the shark-like creature through the corals, there is a moment, just before he begins to convulse, where the white feathery creatures attached to the coral next to Lo'ak's head seem stiff and plasticky, as if they forgot to animate them. In the next moment, the same creatures are swaying softly in the current as expected.
trou dans l’intrigue: The main characters leave their home village so that the bad guys coming after them will no longer target the village. But the bad guys don't know any of this, and no effort is made to tell them. This defeats the stated purpose of leaving.
trou dans l’intrigue: Pandora is filled with animals, most of them predators. How did Quaritch's body just lay on the ground for 15 years without ever being disturbed? The smell alone would have drawn animals in.
Intrigues: Jake Sully lives with his newfound family formed on the extrasolar moon Pandora. Once a familiar threat returns to finish what was previously started, Jake must work with Neytiri and the army of the Na'vi race to protect their home.
Several years after the Na'vi repelled the RDA invasion Jake Sully and his family are living on Pandora. Things seem peaceful but the RDA has other plans, invading and capturing Pandora. Sully forms a guerrilla group to try to expel the invaders.
Pandora, 2170. Having found meaning and purpose in the heart of the extrasolar Garden of Eden, formerly paraplegic Marine veteran Jake Sully and his fierce warrior princess companion Neytiri enjoy peace and prosperity after the life-altering events of Avatar (2009). But happiness is fleeting. And when the unsightly ghosts of Sully's past emerge, sixteen years after the all-out Assault on the Tree of Souls, the human Toruk Makto and the Na'vi must fight back. Now, Jake and the Omatikaya clan have no choice but to pick up where they left off to defend their home. In the upcoming war against the unstoppable Sky People, will blind revenge destroy everything Sully holds dear?
